In order to track the operation of cotton textile enterprises in a timely manner and understand the changes in the cotton textile market, recently, the China Cotton Textile Industry Association conducted a large survey of the main cotton textile related markets in the country for the 92nd time, and the following is the situation reflected by the local markets, cotton textile and related enterprises:
Yarn market
Pure cotton yarn: the enterprise did not have a holiday during the National Day, production and sales are normal, and continue to maintain 100% opening rate. Driven by the macro environment, the sales price of some varieties has increased, the sales volume has increased significantly, and the production and sales rate has exceeded 100%, but due to the high price of cotton in the early stage of the factory, the production cost is still under greater pressure. At present, the overall trend of the external environment is upward, but the actual orders of the downstream weaving factory customers have not increased significantly, the oversupply is still severe, and the overall form of the textile market is still under pressure in the later period.
Vortex spinning: the enterprise did not have a holiday during the National Day and maintained full capacity production. The recent market situation has improved, the downstream market expectations for the later period are better, many customers place orders in advance, but the delivery volume remains normal, and the actual downstream demand improvement is limited. At present, the color spinning varieties are selling well, and the other varieties are selling normally. Companies expect the market to improve further, but only to a limited extent and are cautiously optimistic about the future.
Polyester yarn: Due to poor market conditions, some enterprises choose the National Day holiday, the overall opening rate of the industry is not ideal. The price rise of polyester short raw materials led to a small increase in the price of polyester yarns, market sales are OK, enterprises to maintain stable shipments, product inventory changes little. The national new round of economic policies have been introduced, will further stimulate domestic demand, or provide support for the textile industry, but in the short term, the industry is still more uncertain.
